When I was alone in the woods, I became extremely alert of my surroundings. each tiny run low frightened me as I thinking it could be a predator cracking the fallen twigs as he approached me. I grew tired from being hypersensitive, and started to relax. All the images, sounds, and smells in nature that I had not noticed before began to race to me.
